Weeds is interesting because the fan complain is completely the opposite problem of Shameless. Fans just wanted the status quo of the first few seasons to return whereas Kohan kept it moving forward. It’s not hard to imagine a Shameless type thing happening if she hadn’t done that.

I think these recaps have been particularly good, even if the show was bad. I thought they were more worth reading than a lot of blandly-good show coverage would have been.

The show is produced by Warner Brothers, which pays G/O Media, the owner of AV Club and io9, for positive coverage of WB projects. These reviews have been contractually obligated.

For the love of God, someone get Ben Falcone a hobby.

Fully agree on that being the issue with Pac Man. The variants they have to add to the game to fit a 99 game are extremely obviously an overlay on top of the core gameplay. It’s much much more natural for Tetris.

This is totally pessimistic for no reason.

It’s a fun show! As the review gets at, it gets a little flabby in later seasons but it’s mercifully only a half hour so it’s no big deal.

I literally heard 10 seconds of this show when it was on the other room and it was that exchange. The set up was his sister making fun of him for not having any women in his book, and his response/the punchline was that the book was about a 1907 prison baseball team.

What Marvel’s been able to do is succeed enough on aggregate that they could keep trying things to eventually make it work. Wonder Woman was good, it just

Choosing to write a story about Rogen’s clarification isn’t the same thing as picking out a specific anecdote from a larger profile of him.

Even when 2K got the PGA license, it was announced that the PGA was keeping their option of working with EA in the future.

I don’t blame them for putting her on the show, I blame them for not being able to write anything interesting at all for her to do on it.

There’s a big difference between a personality clash and actually having a character do something objectively bad. Harry is a dick to Sally when they first meet because he’s young and immature, he doesn’t secretly drive her to Vegas instead of New York or something.

Dang, what a coincidence that so many women are both brave and, apparently, liars!

?

but it does sound like they have also had thoughtful journalism about this and pushed back during the interview.

Oh good, more up and coming directors spending time making superhero movies.

The villain of Yoga Hosers is a misunderstood artist who has a vendetta against critics. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back ends with the duo visiting the homes of people who were mean to them on the internet and beating them up.
