A startup losing money on every transaction while growing their customer base and theoretically taking control of a large share of an industry? Where have we heard of this before? Oh right, that little company called Amazon that now runs the entire goddamn world.
This may be the first time seeing your rankings that I think Forrest Gump is underrated.
I think it gets a lot of flack because it’s seen as an unnecessary, considering the original is so beloved. I agree if you remove that negative curve it’s pretty good.
But has Revenge Of The Sith left any actual cultural impact? I honestly don’t know.
True, but I see people constantly get overwhelmed by the amount of DLC, even if they are often on sale.

Rumor on deuxmoi, the sometimes reliable blind gossip account, is that the goal is to actually have it be continuation of the original with Cage and Travolta returning. Hard for me to believe that people are turning to the TCG market because they’d otherwise be investing in long term bonds and what not.
Do people think that though? I feel like I see this articles all the time, plus anti-plant meat people in the comments always bring it up and then pro-plant meat people point out that they’re not eating them for health.
Yes, very true. Honestly, the real problem people have with streaming is the paradox of choice. There’s a reason that TikTok is set up to have an algorithm just put shit in front of you, with no manual curation. Similarly, there’s a reason that so much of Gen Z entertainment is just watching an old sitcom with 6+…
Multiple movies can be barely a movie. That observation is in the context of the movies it beat out in 2004, not other Dreamworks movies.
Was that the start of the church group shadow movie economy? I remember even my Methodist church having group trips to see it. Now there are all sorts of random movies no one has ever heard of do good business because they’re relatively cheap and every church group in the country goes to them.
That’s the backstory as to why tensions got so high, but he was forced to resign (which we know for sure because he sued Disney over it).
