The Clip+ has an MicroSD slot. Got 32gb in mine. + the 4gb internal which I never use.

... and that's the beauty of MP3 players. It's a very mature technology, and the only thing to shop around for is specific features or size preferences. There's nothing new around the corner that makes buying something right now hard.

Most likely yes. If I can still find one that either allow me to browse by folders (not library) and/or runs Rockbox. In fact, the "most likely" is a definite yes. I'd shop around, but I'd be happy to get another Clip+. Not endorsing Sansa, just saying it works for me.

I still use my trusted old Sansa Clip+. I prefer being able to press physical buttons in my pocket and not spend battery and 3G on music. ... and yes, I know you can set your phones physical buttons to act as skip and such. Not the same.
