This. Other players are like the cannibals from The Road - steer clear of them. You didn't see the Man running up to that truck going "Hey guys, me and my kid are friendly, are you friendly? We only have 2 bullets, so don't kill us, because we're friendly!" did you?

What? DayZ looks exactly the same as ArmA 2, being that it is ArmA 2.

Depends, I guess there could be some kind of theoretical fungus-like growth that spreads throughout the body, replacing the circulatory system while still providing the basics needed to move and provide energy to muscles.

Knights of the Nine

I thought it was pretty clear that it was going to be more along the lines of KOTN.

Am I the only one who remembers playing games like Starcraft and AOE for fun, and not for trying to get the highest APM?

No hotkeys slows the game down, but it's not really a game breaker. When I had surgery during high school I spent my 2 weeks off playing Warcraft 3 with a laptop touch pad, single handed.

Hell, I'd be pretty happy with tablet ports of Warcraft 1, 2 and 3, and the original Starcraft.

SSDs can't fragment...

Lucky we aren't still using vampire taps, huh?

Lot's of words, however, you forgot to actually read the article you replied to, which was about scam "detox" products.

I took this screenshot a few days ago, to give an idea of player numbers.

Yep, but when you log off it saves your location, so as long as you all quit at the same time you can meet back up the next time you play, even on a different server.

Try playing on a server from a different timezone, ping isn't actually all that important.

The far bigger threat are the other survivors, before you go into a town you need to scout it out for other players, and if you kill any zombies you need to loot what you can then run; other players might have heard your gunfire, and you've just saved them the trouble of looting the stuff themselves.

DayZ is mostly a chatroom + marathon simulator. An hour of running through the woods chatting on side channel only to get gunned down by some guy from half a mile away.

Everyday is great...

I downloaded the trial yesterday and had so much fun with the portrait.

For most quests, yep. And fast travel.

You could always try Morroblivion, [morroblivion.com], it's a full port to Oblivion, all quests, characters, items included.
