Saw this on a stream recently. It was awesome watching the two playing go from, "I don't think I 'get' this game" to "Holy shit this is amazingly fun" over the course of an hour.

This is actually tempting, though having played through it twice already on PS3 leaves me hesitant. Definitely my favorite open world game in recent times though, probably because it doesn't necessarily feel full of needless fluff like most of them. As much as I like Elder Scrolls, GTA, etc., the finer focus of

Actually sounds like it could have been super interesting! I'm actually sad to hear that they most likely won't be doing a new MMO in the future as I feel like they'd be the ones to really get a good foothold with some new ideas. I still enjoy WoW, but I'd be curious to see what they could do with another fresh IP.

You'd probably find in cases like this that there's a lot less enjoyment out of destroying and a lot more enjoyment in how said object was destroyed.

Just replying to myself to cover the whole set. Sure there are examples, but the clothing in those games is also designed with that in mind, to the point where it's typically just painted on the character, not actually modeled clothing. There's a huge difference. Getting the latter (which is more prevalent now that

If this becomes a big 'issue' I think I can officially can my faith in the gaming community. Sometimes you make games with all female characters, sometimes you make games with all male characters, sometimes you make a mix. A variety of that nature isn't necessary in every game being made ever and if people can't

It'll probably be a while still until we get tech that consistently allows for good looking characters of all body types with other customization. Getting complex clothing models and such to interact with a large variety of body shapes while still retaining their quality is a bit easier said than done.

Other than more communication, I don't think they've necessarily failed here. Communication is a struggle in game development as well; it's difficult to communicate problems, issues, or negative progress without being the subject of backlash and unfavorable news articles. I think once more developers are allowed to

The game used to be 3rd person by default, I wish there was just a toggle option. I suppose that adds some PVP balancing issues, but the game looks great in 3rd person and I feel like it would play well.

This is actually a really great tweak. The difference isn't massive and if you're at the point of 200% damage, you're in incredible danger. This gives you a bit more of a fighting chance if you're able to start recovering and get in some hits.

Wouldn't that mean you shouldn't be posting gifs either?

This is really nitpicky, but holy cow the on-screen weapon/arm models seem absurdly large and really obtrusive.

I hate review scores for the sole reason that games with 7/10 or 70ish ratings are frequently games with a lot of potential. Developers tried something a little different or off color and it didn't pan out perfectly, but has the potential to expand into something amazing. More often than not the reviews with those

Codes are going up for 50+, but nobody's actually buying them. There's maybe 2 or 3 with bids at the $20 level and a bunch around $5, not much else beyond that. Still silly, but $5 seems about right.

The combat in 2 almost caused me to skip 3 and stop playing Xeno games entirely. It worked decently for boss fights, but the fact that it was the setup for even trivial encounters made the whole thing just incredibly tedious.

About 10,000 or so shards in trying to get the last 1 of 3 potential pieces of Firebird with no luck. Kadala is sometimes quite unkind.

I think I like the box better than the 3DS itself. If it looked like the box and opened up to have the controller motif on the inside, I'd be all over this. Still a neat thing, just not how I would have done it.

Yeah no thanks. There's a reason a lot of people only played on the realm servers in D2, which was effectively 'always online'. This is a trend you're going to see more of, not less. It's the one thing that keeps cheating/hacking/exploiting from being more of a problem than it already is.

You're trying way too hard, to the point where I don't think you really understand the things you think you have an excessive understanding of.

This is well written and I appreciate it, though I hope it's the last we see of it for a long time. I think pretty much everything has been said at this point. Bringing it back up every week is not helping gamers getting back to just being people
