I enjoyed the base game, but they really knocked it out of the park for RoS. While there's some tweaks that still need to be made (for example, reforging is very.. frustrating, to say the least), there's already a lot more coming down the pipe already in terms of the ladder system as well as some new content with the

It's the developer's responsibility just the same in a subscription model as well, because people can just.. unsubscribe. This is really a foolish statement. There's a reason MMOs don't flourish on consumer-friendly F2P models, they need the steady income to ensure development keeps moving. Sure there's plenty of

I hope this is the Vita version, though I wish it was ps3 & ps4 as well.

Something small, but neat, is that a lot of the areas have a semi randomized atmospheric filter. Day/Night, weather, colors, etc. It's a small touch, but it's nice.

You can switch it to third person, though it's... iffy. We had the same experience with the instanced stuff though, really frustrating.

She washes back up on the beach to find the bird with the bandana and then a (fairly touching if I remember correctly) letter from Cid directing her to the Raft.

Oh nice, I did early access for Mercenary Kings on Steam and was planning on picking up the PS4 version, certainly simplifies that!

I don't mind it at all when it's well executed, like this. This is honestly a lot more artistically challenging than it looks.

Yikes, 7:00 AM on a Sunday or Tuesday for early access? For once players are probably better off just waiting for the full launch of The Elder Scrolls Online on April 4.

I'll be playing this, though maybe not right on launch day. There's a lot of things that irk me about it, but I'll be playing with a small set of other people to go after the co-op Elder Scrolls experience. No interest in the endgame PVP. Of the two incoming offerings, this and Wildstar, this stood out to me as

Unfortunately I discovered that the combat grows very tiresome and tedious with extended play. It's a bit awkward that WoW's combat still feels like it flows better, despite being a very archaic standard MMO-based system.

I've never noticed the light reflecting in my TV, but my girlfriend has informed me it's incredibly obnoxious sitting next to me when the light decides to go nuts as it's all she can see out of the corner of her eye. So this is definitely a welcome update!

'Last hit' has always been one of those mechanics in MOBAs that seemed completely silly, spawned initially from poor design.

The game still looks fantastic for the hardware it's on. I'm not saying graphics don't matter, everybody likes to look at shiny art, but people make such a big deal out of this stuff.

"That's an option," Iga said, taking a sip of coffee. "There are many options, such as venture capital."

I spent a ton of time with Gauntlet/Gauntlet II as a kid, so this is nice to see, but... PC only and releasing soon after the D3 Expansion seems like a really bad idea. This begs to have a console release.

This is all part of a great feature on The Atlantic on the rise of "Let's Players", which is as fascinating as it is equally...well, maybe not gross, but it's tough to read stuff like "He's otherwise unemployed, and hopes eventually to support himself by playing video games" and feel anything other than a mild sense

I was just thinking the other day that it was surprising they haven't reused those characters since they showed up in Alpha 3. That being said, weird choice to just go with the Cammy lookalike. Looks fun though!

Me neither actually, was wondering if it was just me.

I unfortunately had the same experience. I still play and enjoy WoW, but I like to dabble in other things as well. All of my beta experiences with Wildstar ultimately left me with simply wanting to close the game and do something in WoW.
