How else would you interpret it? Subaru burns all the BRZs?

This article is B.S. Absolutely nothing in that blurb indicates this car will be cancelled any time soon. The only thing I gather from the quote is that BMW may or may not collaborate with Toyota/Subaru on the next gen 86.

Veloster needing a clutch already? What gives?

Veloster needing a clutch already?... What's up?

That's a Hyundai. ;-)

6:02 is why rallying is the best sport in the world.

Those wheels are gorgeous.

Great sportsmanship.

Because it is a whole lot smoother with a constant brake pressure rather than getting off the brake, on the gas, then back on the brake regardless of speed.

Just for shits and giggles and in case I ever happen to find myself in a car without synchros.

The technique is universally called heel and toe. Though it just depends on the car what technique you use. In my car, I do as you say- forefoot forefoot- Senna style.

That was the key to mastering the technique for me as well. The harder you brake, the easier it is to do. Not sure if that is by design on the 911 or not, but it is the same way in my Miata. The shoes you wear seem to play a pretty big role as well (the thinner the sole the better).

SO much better!

Haha awesome! Have fun! You will notice the amount of throttle blip for each gear change largley depends on the rpms you are at, and what gears you are switching between. And when you're ready heel and toe= driving nirvana. For the longest time whenever I attempted to heel and toe- it would usually end in grinding

Only do it when I am at a low speed in second gear turning into a tight parking lot. Rather than coasting in neutral then going into first, I'll just downshift into first at very low RPMs. Would never do it at higher speeds or Auto-X as 1st gear is so short in my car.

Just learned back in January.

Sounds good to me man it is a great region and the guys there rock. I'd say bring the Rover and beat the hell out of it to get some more out of the warranty, but no SUVs. So bring the Ferrari and do a shitty job so I can say my Miata is faster than a Ferrari.

When this American raced back in '97, its front engine/rear drive layout wasn't a few years behind the times, it was four decades behind the times. Nobody had run a top-level car like that since the '60s. The Panoz, while it never sorted out its reliability, was amazingly fast and became a huge cult hero.

HAHAHA PERFECT

OMG! Step 1: Come to a Philly Region SCCA Solo. July 13th, Wells Fargo Center. You have no excuse not to be there! I'll be there in a black Miata.
