Porsche was supposed to race the 918 at the 24 Hours of Nuerburgring. After a press release announcing their intents, they soon unveiled the 918 RSR concept. After announcing it nothing was ever said again of the programme.
I couldn't believe it either so I checked on their website. Parking is $60, then if you don't want to have to take a shuttle to the track, it is $200.
