I'm still waiting for Baby Park to show up in one of the newer games. I loved how simple the track was, and I adore the music. If we get any DLC for MK8, I really hope it makes the cut as a Retro Track.

I miss Double Dash. Characters having unique specials made choosing your character important. Battle mode was awesome, 3 different battle modes and some pretty decent arenas and an amazing Luigi's Mansion arena. The courses were still skinny and not the super wide kid friendly tracks we have in Wii, 7, or 8.

I'm always surprised by all the Mario Kart Wii hate. Compared to the sluggishness of Double Dash, it had an excellent sense of speed and some of the best track designs (Maple Treeway, Koopa Cape, Coconut Mall). Baby Park is one of my favorite tracks of all Mario Kart tracks. Also Battle Mode was awesome in Double Dash. Also double karts were far more unique than anti-gravity, bikes or underwater. Also having a unique special tied to your character made who you choose to race as matter.

Wii was great but this should definitely be second. My son and I burnt a 3DS out playing this so much.

This was such a great tournament. Very compelling stuff. His Rose was unreal. I've mained her for quite some time so I'm familiar with some of her stuff but he was on a whole different level. Great seeing phenomenal international play. Snake Eyez Zangief was a blast to watch too, that guy is a lot of fun to watch.
