That might work but they've sort of tried that before. What they need is to really scrap the fast enemy and gruesome visual appeal and go back to the game's core roots. They're losing touch with what made the series fantastic in the first place and with every iteration they're continuing to walk in the wrong…

But they need to do something about this trend they've been showing lately. Much of the reason that the games have been dropping is the new focus on action and less on the mystery and survival.

I see their argument for gamers "growing out of games" (although it needs to be said, people don't tend to grow out of games, life tends to take more of their time), however surely on the flipside the more aged population have more expendable income.

They really need to do RE 0, REmake, Resident Evil 2,3,4 HD updates. That would be a may ziiing
