I for one likes to see how last-gen compares to current-gen. Especially with the FoxEngine, which was being touted as scalable for different platforms.

MGS4's native resolution was 1024x768, sub-HD as well. In fact, I think the only "Metal Gear" game on PS3 that ran at 720p or above native (HD collection aside) is Rising.

even if you don't see the difference in graphic, you probably will be able to tell the difference in frame rate easily. 30 fps is tolerable but 60 fps is really what devs should be striving for this gen if they can make that compromise without affecting their (artistic) vision too much.
