This. He's not sorry or remorseful in the least, just sorry he got caught. And even then, he's still being incredibly douchey about it. This guy's a real scumbag.

The problem is that he IS a bad person. He always seems to be caught on bad days. He's fucking done this before: [www.natesnetwork.com]

"I mean, yes, it would be important to know their customer service sucks but that part is only an importance when my item hasn't arrived or my item is broken or something in which case I have to contact customer service."

Not really. Considering this guy was their customer service, that HEAVILY factors into a review. If a company is known for god awful customer service, they deserve shitty reviews for their product. Really, the only way these are trolling reviews is the fact that it was this one assclown that did it and not N-Control

Except he's done this exact thing before, even with the backpeddling apology once it made its way online: [www.natesnetwork.com]

Considering he's already committed identity fraud in responding to Kotaku while posing as someone else, I wouldn't put it past him to make that kind of thing up. Literally everything that's come up during this presents him as an incredibly low class scumbag.

I know! They are fucked! Don't they know he's tight with the editor N chief of Kotaku and close with IGN and Engadget? HEADS WILL ROLL!

Nah. The company responsible for it is a real, legitimate company. Which is why they fired this douchebag finally.

Yeah, this. The "Christmas season" help stuff is only from his fraudulent email as Brandon. They've been involved with doing customer service / PR for the Avenger controller for months, as he did this exact same thing previously, in an exchange that was posted in June: [www.natesnetwork.com]

It's moreso the fact he was impersonating another person that Kotaku had formerly corresponded with. And did so in a way that made it obvious. If he had not done so, they never would have investigated that email address, found this steroid stuff, and then reported it. Nor would the real Brandon have then slammed him

You mean Paul. Paul's the douchey Ocean PR guy. Dave's the poor, screwed-over customer.

Not really. I mean, yeah, it's cool for Dave that he gets something for having to deal with all of this, but it's VERY obvious this is just an attempt from the Ocean douche to try getting everyone to stop hating on him. He can say he had a bad day and give all these excuses he wants, but a single bad day doesn't

Article's horribly wrong. They're giving the keys away to people paying a minimum of $1 still. It was all the people abusing it and purchasing bundles for 1 cent (rather than a dollar like the article says) that were the problem and prompted the change.

You still can. The article's wrong. Keys now require a $1 minimum purchase.

This article's wrong. They didn't remove them at all. They just require a $1 minimum now.

Next time, click through to the link rather than reading the (inaccurate) Kotaku summary. They've removed nothing. They just changed it to require a minimum of $1 purchase to get the Steam keys, to stop the flood of 1 cent purchasers buying hundreds to game the contest. And even then, they've outright stated that

It will. Not outright such as you typing in YouTube.com and getting a Page Not Found error, but it will definitely have worldwide effects. Basically, any US site hit with blocks under this would be receiving a death sentence, so while you'd still be fine to access it, that'd only be until it goes out of business, or
