I know generally about VAG-COM as the owner of an early '90s Audi, but I wondered what you specifically meant about reprogramming the turn signals. Program them to do what?

Why reprogram them? (Honestly curious what you mean)

I just think it's funny that my American car has ambers and my Euro car has reds, lol.

This is on the front of the car, isn't it? So of course it wouldn't be red.

This is a pretty old thread and the guy I responded to was talking about the Tesla Roadster, not the Model S (which is what the article was about). Top Gear UK tested the Roadster several seasons back.

I'm a fan of Audis from the time when they did things right. Mine is a longitudinally mounted DOHC 5-cylinder mated to a 5-speed manual and full-time mechanical AWD. True quattro.

Really? It's actually pronounced like that? Weird. I was using my knowledge of Spanish pronunciations (close enough to Latin, right?) to figure it out. If it's pronounced as you say though, that's even worse.

Clever...

"Or something."

Taken by what though? Equus is taken too.

My only problem with it is the badge that says "Equus." It just looks cheap. They should have called it something else too. I don't even know how to pronounce Equus, and when I say it in my head, it doesn't sound like a muscle car name. Camaro... Mustang... Challenger... Charger... Barracuda... Trans Am... "Equus?"

It's probably a pretty practical idea if you think about it. It doesn't actually kill visibility, but I'm thinking about the heat it might block from entering the car on a hot sunny day. I'd welcome some louvers on my car for that reason if they looked tasteful.

If it's "just a key" what's with the giant useless lump of red plastic and Ferrari badge there at the top? I'd rather have something small and discrete. Keep the red and Ferrari badge if you must, but make that thing smaller.

*facepalm* I see these all the time.

I'm done 70 in a 60 year old car. It's not terrifying. There's a certain feeling of "hmm.. unassisted drum brakes and no safety equipment..." that leaves you a little more nervous, but only because there are idiots out there who don't realize the limitations of an older car like that, not because the car feels

You're asking a bit much to make it RWD since neither the current Civic nor the old CRX were. FWD can still be fun, especially with something like this.

Give me gasoline or give me death.

I don't think they'd be arguing for getting rid of car dealerships entirely. It's more like, why can't we just have the option to buy directly? If I have nothing to trade and either want to pay cash or have the loan arranged by a bank ahead of time, what's stopping me from buying the car I've already decided on

Your pic didn't show up.

It's not that bad in my opinion. It's even a bit more like the original Quattro. I think both concepts look fantastic, and if this new yellow one means it's closer to being green-lighted, then I'm all for it.

The airlines I have the most experience with are Virgin Air, Delta, Egyptair, and Air France. Virgin Air was my favorite with Delta and Air France close behind.
