I love that this sort of technology is being used. Growing up my dad's racing partner was a paraplegic and so they had the crazy idea to throw hand controls in some little volkswagens using ATV steering controls and a VW beetle semi auto. They did pretty good for a good while there, even got a championship trophy one

"...brain the size of a planet and all you people want to talk about is the cupholders.

"They say they love me. They say I'm the best. But do they really mean it? Ulgh. No one understands me!"

This.

I think I may have seen a Defender 110 they did the other day... was gleaming, like it just came off the lot, had some sweet, but tasteful modifications to it. Notably, it was running Ford wheels of some sort. They looked odd, but worked ok, I thought... I think I may still have a picture.

What blew my mind was that it

G-g-g-ghost Jeep! Ruh-roh.

To look at it, you'd think it'd just be like an on/off sort of switch, since it doesn't appear to have any travel. But you'd be wrong. Thanks to some of the blackest French magic, it's pressure sensitive, so the harder you mash that mushroom, the harder you stop.

1973: Because of a rare genetic mutation that makes the males in the Torchinsky clan particularly susceptible to the lure of unusual vehicles, Papa Torchinsky becomes intrigued (and possibly slightly aroused) at the thought of owning a new VW Golf with the sliding doors.

I always dreamed that when I became rich and famous, or just rich, I'd get a BBJ and just live out of it, kind of like what's-his-face in Contact. Ahh, the dreams of youth. Now I'll count myself lucky if I ever fly first-class.

Anybody else picture the Tusken Raiders taking potshots at passing podracers? No? Just me?

musk does not do ugly, and laughed at the i3 during an interview for its looks. I think the model 3 will be safe from what you worry about :)

I work as a "Crop Duster" here in Mexico, but I only fly Piper PA-25. I have tons of pictures, just let me know if you want some :)

Large planes can create turbulence up to three minutes after takeoff.

In this age that 'short overhangs' is the golden ticket to cool with the car crowd, leave it to the French to have four feet of car behind the wheel and it's freaking gorgeous.

Again, it has absolutely nothing to do with lag, it has everything to do with the doppler effect. I don't have my e-mag text books from college with me, and I am technically at work so I can't work out the equations right now. But if you have an object approaching you at 1,000 miles per hour, he may be talking on

That's because the buyers are all celebrating 70 years...

I dunno, I think this one has a lot more buttocks clenching
