You’re confusing Kojima with Nomura.

Remember when Nintendo was trying to get into health hardware? I guess this is what’s left of the project.

In the episode’s “Inside The Episode” installment, Weiss says that the Red Keep, in that moment, symbolized all she and her family had lost, and the sight of it turned things personal for Daenerys

What Android flavor? I don’t recall this being in Google’s version (tho i have not used the latest) but I can see something like this being included in Samsung’s version, HTCs, and so on. iOS has this same thing.

The “brand name” is cheaper or the same price as all of those.

I bought these at $98 (new) and they’re great. Obviously not the best but at the price they’re about as good of a deal as you’ll find right now for a good combination of noise cancelling, good sound quality, mostly modern BT standards, battery life, and build quality. The battery life is so long I’ve never actually

Why? Makes a lot of sense for people that actually want to put their burrito down and saves the mess until the bottom half of the burrito. This is no different than putting the burrito in a cup holder except this time it’s an actual cup.

Aldi’s kicks their ass.

You’re comparing a higher end wired mic vs. a low end wireless one. It’s clear what one is better.

NVMe tech doesn’t exist? NVMe storage costs have dropped greatly over time and that trend will only continue. We’re still a year or two out from launch. Here’s what I was thinking for the tech.

Well that sucks. But based on this console gen you’ll be installing most or all of the game from the disk anyway.

Who said games will be on disks next generation? We could be seeing a new proprietary format likely similar to NVMe but portable and whatnot

N64 loading times were fast. Carts in general were fast. Hard drives? Slow. Here we’re seeing NVMe with last gen game. I don't think PS5 titles will load like this but this is going to be a huge improvement over using a HDD regardless and especially since every single dev can optimize for it

Actually having a devkit optimized for SSDs will make a huge difference. Do you understand the concept of a bottleneck? Doesn't matter if the CPU is faster, the GPU does Ray tracing, etc, if spinning drives are still your biggest hurdle.

Load times are literally one of the reasons I’ll play some games on PC instead of PS4. Doing this right now with AC: Origins cuz I know all of that fast travel would be slow as shit otherwise. I don’t think Sony’s tech will be that new. Probably just a unique implementation of NVMe which is what I’m using on PC.

So... they shouldn’t report on ongoing lawsuits? It’s not like Gawker (why people all think these blogs and writers are a single entity with one viewpoint is beyond me so I’m just using this to fit the context of the convo) themselves are suing Uber.

People said the same thing when Valve started forcing Steam on us.

It’s a security update not a huge feature update.

In the convo between Jon and Dany earlier in the show she straight up says she’ll rule by fear so I’m not sure I fully buy that this is so black and white a case of madness. In her mind it might have made sense to raze the city for said fear.

You’ve never once considered what these movies would look like to an outsider? Especially given how popular they are so you know that someone is being dragged into this without knowing much? Once you get past your own fandom it’s an interesting thing to think about regarding the movie. Hell, there’s another article
