I think you’re confusing “do not work” and “unavailable.” Two completely different concepts. I don’t really understand the issue with “independent sign in” as it implies you’re signing into Chrome on someone else’s computer or something which seems like an odd situation.

It seems like Pro is what comes standard on a lot of hardware? Not many people are actually buying Windows standalone - they use what their computer came with.
