This reminds me of a terrible football idea I had when I was a kid. It would involve the punter unlacing his shoe before taking the field, taking the snap, faking the punt by flinging his shoe 30 yards downfield, and then running the ball.

I see now why the owners voted against banning tanking: If you outlaw tanking, only tankers will have outlaws.
