@phoghat: You know what. I'm the physician. Your job is to ensure I haven't prescribed my patient something that will kill them with the other drugs they are on and to educate patients about the meds I have rx'd.

@pvalpha: Thanks. You are teh awesome.

@Dr Emilio Lizardo: I'm an ER physician. I was a chief resident at one of the most selective programs in the US. I am considered by my colleagues as 'machine' in the ER. I chair a hospital committee. The nurses where I work love working with me and I have the highest patient satisfaction scores in my group. I think I

"Mark Donahue, president of the Fraternal Order of Police, said his organization 'absolutely supports' the eavesdropping act as is and was relieved that the challenge had failed. Mr. Donahue added that allowing the audio recording of police officers while performing their duty 'can affect how an officer does his job

Batshit and Batshittier (Palin and Bachman) will do one of two things:

@Wheema: No you seem to have missed mine, largely because you are an ableist ass. You can't carry an off road wheelchair with you and ride in your (very limited terrain) traditional motorized wheelchair.

@Wheema: Yeah, WTF with all these cripples! They expect as much mobility as the rest of us normal people. Next thing you know they will expect us to place ramps and accessible toilets for their small minority (at an impractical cost to the public, businesses, etc.) that might get used only once a month. [/sarcasm]

ER is obviously very busy with a lot of sick patients. Someone with a BS complaint that they could see their doctor about tomorrow who has been waiting all of an hour grabs me in the hall and whines 'when will I be seen?' I explain that we see people in the order in which they came but people with life threatening

Sorry. I'm not buying the explanation of the guy who is now a member of the frat and who has a great deal at stake to keep the reputation of his frat spotless.

1) Drama!

@unrealized: "The majority of enfranchised people in the south felt that slavery was OK 150 years ago. The 50 years ago the enfranchised majority thought miscegenation laws were fine. Today, the majority of Americans still believe that my marriage of 7 years (yay, Canada!) and relationship of 15 years is not worthy of

@Soul Owned: Spoken like a true enfranchised straight white male asshole.

@Soul Owned: "Calling attention to the fact that you are a minority does not make you any more special, while it also does not guarantee your equality. That's life — move somewhere more to your liking, or change the rules. There is nothing holding you back but yourself."

@LucyPevensie: Fortunately CPS does a better job today.... so hopefully what happened to you and I is much more a thing of the past.

@Never_Nude: "If this woman were my client (and I have dozens just like her)".

@Never_Nude: Not all of us end up in that system. Some of us get out. Some of us even go on to become mandated reporters who have a 6th sense for abuse and no fucking need for a mandate to call it when we see it.

@LucyPevensie: You aren't the only one. I was left when my two older brothers were taken. After they left I became the prime target.

@TeenageGangDeb: "I wonder how many women who are leaping to defend this woman have ever been children in a situation even remotely like this."

Because we know how well majority rule works!

@kalyx: "I'm not sure I'll ever find it even on the internet (for example, I prefer to see women who are naturally rounder and considerable attention given to female pleasure by men rather than ending once they guy gets off)."
