I work ~36 hours a week (paid) and ~16 hours a week (unpaid) as a physician. The former pays enough so that I can do the later. I like the later more, but the former is rewarding too (in a 'make sure the drunk college kids don't choke on their own vomit' sort of way.)

@integrandia: As with all methods of birth control that involve the tubes... if you get pregnant after there is a very high risk of ectopic pregnancy (usually tubal). In fact after a tubal ligation, or coiling like Essure, all pregnancies should be considered ectopic till proved otherwise.
