Eight Championships in 4 years... Either my math is wrong or thy're counting more than just Formula 1.

This reminds me of a conversation I had with a US Air Force pilot at the Farnborough Air Show. He was working at the US Embassy in Poland, advising and selling US weapons systems to former Eastern Block nations and he told me that the hardest part of his job was not selling F-16 jets... It was explaining to them that…
I'm sure K-Mag would have made a better actor than Alonso... Should have kept the team as is!
I used to book a helicopter seat from Nice Airport to Monaco every year when I had to attend a trade show. The flight was about ten minutes and was the same price as a taxi, as that ride took an hour while the meter was ticking.
I've dropped a Suzuki Samurai in the Mediterranean sea at a Turkish resort at 3AM in the morning some 15 years ago... It took two tractors to pull it out the next morning and $200 to brive the police and military police, to avoid ending up in jail.
Bathurst is such an amazing race/track... I've raced there many times myself* and it's one of my all time favorite tracks.

My checkride was at 50 hours, which I did in 6 months. I had finished my ground school before I started flying, which I wouldn't necessarily recommend, but it gave me the ability to just focus on flying.
But I'll get you close... My private cost about $9,000 all in. There is the overhaul thing but the airplane is going to be worth more afterwards and you have a couple of years of flying before the OH if you average 100 hours/year s a recreational pilot... Of course you have to add your annual inspection, but all in…
My private cost about $9K... My instrument rating which I'll start soon is only going to be about $5K due to already logged instrument time + 20 hours of AATD time at a part 141 school.
"Hatz confirmed to Top Gear that the next generation of 911 models, save for the GT3 models, will all get turbochargers in 2016"
You must be new around here...
There is a simple explanation for that... I used to live in the UK but now I live in sunny San Diego.
That thing is awesome!!!
True, but had he hit oncoming traffic and killed a whole family, what then?
Seriously Raph, you guys at Jalopnik should apply a single standard rule (double standards are just too confusing)? You scold a BMW driver that hits the median at a cars & coffee, but think this guy is cool? Really?
I think that's Alain Prost in the first picture... I'm pretty sure that's a Lambo in your picture and no idea who the guy washing it is (Early picture of Balboni maybe?)!
You have to subtract the $2, not add them! $27 - $2 = $25 which coincidentally if you add the $5 gives you a total of $30.
The biggest difference is that Stewardesses have landing strips... I don't know what flight attendants have but I'm afraid I'll meet Dr. Livingstone if I try to find out!
