Bro most games use 1-3 quicksave slots at most. The 25 default here is already anomalously high. Expecting your F5 spamming to keep you permanent bookmarks for when you wanna get your rocks off is wild lmao

No it doesn’t.
However well or poorly you think early GoT was written, the point is that it did not shy away from multifarious geopolitics consisting of many factions with overlapping and conflicting objectives. Which is exactly what he claims American audiences can’t handle.
Yeah, it feels like there was some very poor optimization attempt with overeager culling, poorly structured lazy loading, what have you, and the dogshit streaming system is just constantly trying to pull things into and out of memory and as a result if you so much as twitch the camera it explodes.
Seems like it would be more cost effective to just delist it. I don’t think there’s a big group of people out there like “this game would be so good if only it weren’t so broken,” consensus seemed to be “this is a fundamentally shit game, and also very broken.”
Music. Hope that helps.
They have parts/process for replacing the actual physical bumpers, but not the switches under them, which are the things that fail constantly on these controllers. I’ve literally gone through at least half a dozen Elite controllers, all of which also got RMA’d at least once while in warranty, and these piece of shit…
I mean to be fair that is quite literally the worst case scenario. Most of the rest of the game runs just fine by now, but the cantina area is so hard CPU-bottlenecked that basically no amount of hardware can make being in that vicinity run smoothly.
Well, all burning, or just focusing on crits, but yeah. I think things like DR from burning, healing from burning, etc, are meant to help with some of that. The game is just so poorly balanced on the incoming damage/CC front right now that all of those effects add up to basically nothing. You either need to be…
The big drawbacks were mostly a Sorc thing, yeah. Rogue’s are a lot of “if X and also Y and also its the third tuesday of the month, then some underwhelming effect.” Barb and Necro are fairly as-you’d-expect. Druid for whatever reason gets the kitchen sink on aspects. Does an additional thing and counts as something…
Okay so just play on softcore with your own self-imposed rules then. I haven’t died, pinky promise. That doesn’t sound meaningfully different than what you’re describing.
Fix what? If you allow instantaneous quit-outs without consequence, Hardcore loses any meaning, as you just keep a panic disconnect switch on hand if shit gets out of hand. There’s no practical way to distinguish between that and a “legitimate” disconnect.
We don’t, and if we follow general gaming trends, in terms of raw numbers, the majority of players probably don’t even finish the campaign. But for the purposes of a live service game like this, I think any meaningful discussion of the “playerbase” has to be about the people playing it as a long-term service game. And…
A tier 1 nightmare dungeon is level 54 so... yes, that would not be any more difficult. In fact, with the beneficial modifier, limited negative modifiers, and fixed (lower than you) level it would probably be easier. Once you hit tier 10, 20, 30, you get more negative modifiers and the enemies start to significantly…
Barb is well positioned to be less affected than other classes because they have a lot of damage resistance built into their skills where other classes need more from gears/aspects that were nerfed, but you’ll feel it pushing any NM tiers where you’re going to be meaningfully underlevel. For most players that’ll start…
Strongholds, Helltides, and especially Nightmare Dungeons outlevel you, Nightmare Dungeons by 10, 20+ levels. The level cap in the game is 100 but Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeons are level 154. And nightmare dungeons are... the vast majority of the content in the game by volume.
The younger-than-me-but-somehow-still-boomers at Kotaku have discovered skibidi toilet. Pack it in zoomers/alphas, show’s over.
If you’re 57 in WT3 you’re doing on-level content. Which is not the majority of the game. Its under-level content that went from tough to ludicrously brutal.
The mat costs with sub-sacred tier gear are quite low (though admittedly more expensive from codex than from extracted aspects), and I don’t really know how you’d be that poor from even unusable-tier legendary drops for mats unless you were spending them on things like upgrading above tier 3 on gear or rerolling…
They could fix a good half of the games current issues by turning the “vuln bucket” into the “debuff bucket”. That would actually allow different builds to flourish. Damage vs Frozen, Damage vs Stunned, whatever, put it all in the debuffed multiplicative bucket with vulnerable. Boom, vulnerable is actually less…
