This is an extremely good move. Druckmann and Mazin are both fantastic writers and the TV format is a much better fit than a feature for basically any video game adaptation. Very excited for this.

I can understand why it would turn some people off, but I personally loved it. I spent like 20 hours in a row just camping and collecting furs.

It’s too accurate. The “real” one moves and makes noise and has emotions. This one will only sit on your desk and stare blankly with its dead eyes...until you’re not looking...

We’re far past the point where characters being self aware that they’re in a commercial is funny or clever.

Not sure I’m prepared for a world in which Sam Elliot reciting Lil Nas X lyrics and celebrity spokesmen MC Hammer and Post Malone are all featured in Super Bowl ads. Not to mention Wesley Snipes in a commercial where a car crash leads to the suicide of a CGI peanut.
