I’m in total agreement with 90% of the article. I do like the Martian military. It’s a nice touch that they show them having to train specifically to fight within Earth’s gravity for a Martian invasion scenario. The suits are pretty cool but I was hoping they’d have more specialized weaponry. Anyway, Alex & the…
If there’s an alien apocalypse i’ll still be playing my physical copies of the Mass Effect trilogy, that is until the EMP reaches me.
I’ve always wanted to play it because i’m from the Pacific Northwest and it gave me Twin Peaks vibes. I just hate playing horror games. I always want to run off the map and never look back.
You can’t patch a shitty story.
Andromeda is just an elongated Mass Effect 3 ending. Mass Effect 1 is light years better than whatever they turned Mass Effect into. I still get chills from ME1's teaser announcement which has more character and panache than anything Bioware is calling Mass Effect these days.
ME 1 > Andromeda .
When I eventually play this i’m going to Ripley the shit out of it.
It is great headphone music. The strange thing about vaporwave and similar sub genres is that it’s unapologetic reminiscence sounds more fresh and heartfelt than alot of contemporary music.
Excuse my drunken subliminals.
Cool track. Very cinematic, which I love.
Thanks for all the clarification guys !
You’re absolutely spot on. btw that track is amazing!
Funnily enough I’ve been into VHS Head and Squarepusher for awhile. I’ll check out Godspeed You Black Emperor. btw not sure if you’ve seen VHS Head’s studio. Pure awesome madness !
Context is everything. The N64 controller was pretty groundbreaking for it’s time, especially when you think it made first person shooters mainstream on consoles.
I have no idea what any of that means. Is it like a persona?
The original soundtrack by Jeff Russo is particularly mesmerizing. Up there with Utopia & Humans from Cristobal Tapia de Veer.
So hipsters like good music? They don’t sound half bad.
Never thought i’d see Boards of Canada on Kotaku. Nice surprise :)
