Especially when I can get a used PS4 for around $200 and have access to better games. This is coming from a die hard Xbox 360 user.
It felt too artificial, the pacing was horrible and it should have used much more practical effects imo. Besides that I don’t think he got the most out of the actors and the casting which i’m sure he had input on was mostly miss rather than hit. While some of the special effects were quite nice, they weren’t utilized…
and hired a competent director.
The only reason i’ll probably buy it is because one of my only figures is this one.

The biggest fuck up making this movie was choosing this shitty director along with a shittier script. A studio like A24 could have turned this adaptation into something special if you got the right people together and adhered to the anime’s soul & philosophy.
I hate how her skepticism turned to full on Catholic indoctrination as the series went on.
I play people that own Ps4's & Xbox One’s all the time in Rocket League.

I’ve never tried it but I imagine it’s delicious. One of my fantasies is to spend 3 or 4 days in Tokyo finding the little places all the locals love. Of course i’d spend the 10 or so other days doing a tour of the rest of Japan and trying to do the same thing.
Served with a side of tripe.
All I’ve read is the first book but it was excellent.
