I would love to see the Orca program at sea world end, but is there anyone here with some expertise on the matter who knows the best way to go about that? At the end of Blackfish, they propose to rerelease the healthy, young whales back into the open ocean, but given how Orca pods are structured, I kind of got the

This used to be me until I found a partner that I am just ridiculously comfortable with. I like that you mentioned how close you CAN get... but then nothing. I used to call that The Wall. Sex would be going great, I would be really into it, and would feel like I was finally about to come and then... THE WALL. And then

I think the main issue is that men can think about ANYTHING and still orgasm. In fact thinking of horrible, boring or terrifying things are all ways to stop orgasm that only partially work. The women I've known well enough to have the discussion with all say that they need that perfect mental track to get there. The

Same thing for me. I can get very very close. But that's it.

I know I run the risk of sounding like one of those people who clicks on links about subjects that upset them just to go straight to the comment section to whine about said subject but GOD DAMN IT I'M STILL GONNA DO IT.

Thank you for saying that. This video is not about her trying to appropriate any kind of ethnicity through dancing. She's said in interviews that it's all about her dancing with professionals and seeing what happens. It just so happens that the majority of dance styles originated in black or latino communities, so why

This is just ridiculous. White people can't win when it comes to this kind of stuff, it seems. You put all black dancers in and it's objectifying black bodies. You put all white dancers in and it's erasing the cultural influences of black people. You put a mix of dancers of all races and ethnicities (like Taylor did

I think that's the joke.

seriously. It's pretty obvious that Taylor's just goofing off. The person she's really making fun of is *herself*.

Welp, this whole article was written in such a mean manner that it doesn't surprise me that fact-checking/editing wasn't a part of the process. Yeesh.

But the second butt in the butt-bridge is clearly white so I don't know, it reads more like her making fun of different genres of dance. I think we might be grasping a little here.

I agree. I think that this doesn't bother me because it was included as a part of dance styles in general - she recognized that hip-hop is a legitimate dance style and gave it no more disdain than any of the other ones. And if the point was that she doesn't fit in there, then is she really appropriating?

Can't edit my old post anymore, so excuse the double-post, but... I really, don't see how Taylor was making digs at Lady Gaga or Miley Cyrus. The tracksuit part looks way more Daft Punk/techno-ish with the futuristic glasses and sharp bob (which Lady Gaga hasn't rocked for like 4 years.) And what lyric did she steal

I think she's mocking how she can't fit into that mold (whether it be hip-hop, techno, etc.) and is making fun of how bad she would be if she tried.

She's mocking herself because she knows she's a shitty dancer lol

I'm all for pointing out cultural appropriation and calling out those who perpetrate it, but I fail to feel outrage over this video. I mean at least Taylor thinks that it's a dance equivalent to ballet and interpretive instead of going, "eww black girls shaking their asses, yuck". And if all the dancers were white,

When someone advocates domestic abuse I think it is noteworthy and they deserve to be called out for it.

I'm Irish. It's horrific to have these stories coming from your country. Even more horrific is the confirmed fact that the woman's baby was conceived through rape. How unbearable. There are so many of us in Ireland who believe in and march for pro-choice rights. We exist and we continue to fight!

The Lyin', the Witch, and the Wardrobe

I agree that police brutality against minorities has been a problem for time immemorial, but the militarization of the police IS a relatively new phenomenon. I think we can talk about both and why the militarization makes the long-standing treatment of minorities increasingly problematic.
