I thought at first this is the one you were talking about, but nope. The luckiest thing about this is he walked away from it, IIRC.

If gadget geeks are like gearheads, Steve was top Jalop.
I graduated from high school in 2004. There were a lot of gearhead kids with 60's era Mustangs, that knew what a real car was. There were a LOT of morons with Eclipses that had no idea how to drive. One of them ran a stop sign and hit myself and my girlfriend on our way to a concert for my birthday.
Or, Elantra Touring.
Or maybe you're doing it VERY right. The M for me is a Z3 M Coupe. :)
This. For the love of all that's good and upright, THIS. While I enjoy saving money by getting good MPG, I also have a hope that one day I'll have a job that pays well enough that I can walk outside, look at my cars, and think "Screw MPG today. I'm taking the M."
MPG. I hate hearing people ask "how many mpg's does it have?" about cars. It doesn't HAVE any. It *GETS* them, depending on how YOU drive.
That's a Hyundai Elantra (2001-2006).
Yeah. I was EXTREMELY disappointed that they never really said "hey, it's 100% working now." Sorry, but gauge cluster in the glove box doesn't do it for me.
If only they'd make us a MazdaSpeed5. Turbo stick minivan FTW! I'd buy first and tell my wife later if they did such. Making THAT would take serious crazy.
How awesome would a MazdaSPEED5 be? They come in stick already, just swap the speed3 engine in. I'd be all over that.
Currently the rear tires are 20"; we'll be putting some 18" ones on in the near future to help with acceleration.
I believe that a version of this is in my garage already. [evalbum.com]
How much less fun would cars be without center console parking brakes? Power slides, Guinness parallel parking records, J-turns, front wheel drive burnouts...
It looks like a robot version of Will Power giving the shaft.
I'll just leave this Mega Track here...or take it offroad.
Like the Scirocco Bimotor? [website.lineone.net]
Must not have been going too fast. I tried to pop the trunk in my 87 town car while going about 45 MPH. The latch released, but the air pressure was high enough that it never actually opened. Once I got below about 25, then it flew up.
I started digging for a picture of this, and ended up with a link to a Jalopnik article. Go figure.
Nor the XG350.
