There's no way that Microsoft would shoot themselves in the foot like this. There's a very large demographic of xbox users that don't even go online, whether by choice or the simple fact that they don't have a broadband connection available to them.

The biggest problem I've had so far is that I bought the game directly from Trion. They didn't "apply" it to my account until about 10 hours after release (at which point it was time for the long download). I was charged 5 minutes after I bought it, but couldn't actually start playing (or even starting the initial

I got the game on discount for about 30 bucks, which is all it's worth. I played through single player and actually had fun with it, but all along the way I would think to myself "why didn't they do it this way instead" or something along those lines.

The spoilers are so blatantly obvious, it should have never been

I had Knights of the Old Republic spoiled for me 15 minutes before I got to the big twist. That was fun.

This is my most favoritest thing ever on Kotaku.

The personalization packs are nifty micro transactions done right.

Earthbound.

Cooking Mama rpg w/ dialogue wheels.

I ended up quitting when they started forcing me to sell plan and phone upgrades to customers (even outside the ones it would

Or you could just log into the live site, leave a tab open on your friends list and refresh it when you need to check.

You use energy to go into a complex (the first floor of a dungeon). It takes 15 energy for an easy one, 10 for a normal and 20 for a hard. To go to the next floor takes 10 energy, but there's a floor limit based on what your robot level is (a level separate from your player level).

I actually find myself enjoying this. The whole energy system is still there, but it's implemented much better, not actually stopping you in the middle of a good 10-15 minute chunk of playtime.

Huh.....this is the first time I've been excited for a Splinter Cell since the old xbox days.

Because cheescake.

I would have bought this the moment it was available for purchase.
