There used to be. When BR first launched, it was plagued with cheaters in every match. LIke, super blatantly obvious “I one shot 5 people across the map with a white ar in 3 seconds” obvious.

Epic cracked down hard once they got going. Are there still cheaters? Yeah, but the super obvious ones are few and far between.

I just wish they’d weight connection more in quick play. THe moment we party up with 3 or more, it actively looks for parties of 3+ people, almost always getting groups of 4+, even when we’re in a party of 2 we end up against almost full parties of people.

The more we’ve played overwatch, the more we’ve found that the forced party vs party and skill based matchmaking are making the game less and less fun to play each night. It’s the same thing happening in a lot of shooters.
