Solid rear axle in the Ford Mustang. They always found an excuse to never include independant rear suspension in the lower models such as the GT. The car would have greatly benefited from it and Ford themselves actually had the parts to do it(90s Thunderbird), and didn't.
I own one, and it is a good car. I've not had anything go wrong on it so far. It is nearly at 80,000miles, and still pulls strong.
