If you advertise a car, then someone buys that car, then you come back to them and say no.. no no it was just a rental, and take the car away, you are in for a bad time.

In the current gaming climate, this is not a smart way to handle thing. They really need to damage control this and either hand over what they promised to people that bought while it WAS promised, which they admit is their own fault, or they need to refund, and do it quick.

As someone who works in IT, someone who spends their life creating online content and systems, no one is “prepared” for the initial rollout. No one can be completely ready or anticipate the exact load servers will have to handle - or what they can take - you can only make your best guess and thats all it is, a guess.

Actually, with steams new refinds policy, you can go and apply for a refund, say its because you bought it yesterday and it dropped in price the next day, and you’ll (99%) get that refund (maybe just for the difference).

I honestly don’t know what the percentage of yoga pants that are ACTUALLY used for yoga - or any other exercise - actually is but i would bet that its not that high.

While i never really cared that much for this ‘controversy’ i did have a few problems with the method. Modders should be compensated, after all it would only encourage better things, however, i did have a couple of problems.

I think the main problem was not that paid mods existed, it was the format in which they existed. There are ways in which they would have much less backlash. It’ll happen, but probably in a better way.
