While i would never end a friendship over it (and i know its just a joke, really) there are books, and TV shows i will not, ever, suggest or supply to friends for fear that they won't like it as much as me and it'll be awkward.

Also we're assuming these people won't go and see it in a theatre, or EVER planned to in the first place.
She runs around on rooftops and makes ninja leaps and stuff, of course she calls herself Cat
You could say that about most shows like this. Things happens because they need to happen not because they work in the world world.
I too, watch downton abbey.
Good. Both batman and superman overshadow things around them and honestly.. i'm not too much a fan of superman. He's too perfect and makes everyone around him seem MUCH less useful. Also why would you want to shove big names into your shows just to swan around your main characters.
Exactly my feelings. I can understand him being a victim of trauma - which could be interesting characterization and development. I can even understand him shooting that one grounder, because he's just 'doing anything he can' and he's convincing himself that he has to do it. He's delusional, perhaps.
It does seem weird to even connect it to asuka at all since its so different.
Tau'ri refers to the first humans not the first hosts. It denotes earth as the original homeworld of the first human hosts of the goa'uld.
There is something of a goa'uld language already http://stargate.wikia.com/wiki/Goa%27uld…
While I partially agree about stargate (Zat'nik'tel for example was a bit silly), you gotta remember the others follow a theme that makes sense, in the same way that Teal'c does.
Since it was pointed out to me, I can never unsee the fact her hair goes through her (left) arm.
How can anyone. He's basically standing around shooting kids while murphy of all people tells him that he's going too far. Even if, somehow, they handwave him being allowed back and not locked up/hanged/banishedthe fans could never get behind him again.
Honestly i couldn't believe that Murphy kept coming back, and Finn kept getting worse, and quickly too. Then i realised that it had to be a fan-based thing. For some reason people didn't like Finn (probably the Cliake/Bellamy thing) and thus he became more and more unhinged and less and less likable because he was the…
I did not have high hopes for this show (mostly because of the network its on, i'm bias.. i've been burned before). I was expecting another teen drama like Star-crossed or Tomorrow people. Boring, tame and safe.
Apparently so. Its got something to do with the fact he is SO tall its just way more comfortable to do that than not. And i mean, he can so why not...
I didn't get the sense he was there to take gary's soul so much as he was there to stand vigil (just like John was doing) out of respect for the man's sacrifice.
If John had been a fully fledged bastard right from the get-go, the masses would have been turned off and found him unlikeable and hard to watch. It can edge closer, it can make him more of a bastard only AFTER people like him already.
I REALLY thought this was going to be another bad Star Crossed or even iffy Tomorrow People, but its really surprised me in not only its quality but its ability to surprise me (in good ways) and continue to grow.
She looks so.. greasy...
