True, i mean its still 'water' themed. Same as sandbending is earth themed, but you're right, that does sort of have a wood/plant/nature sort of vibe to it. I like the little sub-cultures of bending. Not the big flashy things like Lava or Metal or Lightning, But even just sandbending is really cool
Ah cool, i might take a look. I was always disappointed i didn't get to see more of the cast as adults in that interim between series.
I'd go with league rule.
At least Amon had a sort of 'i will create balance and equality by removing inherent advantages from a select few' his goal was, obviously, equality. Even if he was a terrorist about it.
And the antagonists always seem to be massively extreme about it. I really need to look into those comics, people reference them a lot but i've never seen them. Are they aren't good or are they basically just filler?
I dunno about obnoxious. Broken, tragic, even maybe crazy, but not obnoxious. He wasn't very NICE but thats not the same thing.
What? I'm sorry.. can.. can you explain this to me?
I never even knew that. If she was like 10-13, she would have been less annoying. Well.. maybe not less annoying, but more justifiably annoying, because she's just a little kid.
I spoiled the end fight between viper and mountain for someone because i (carefully) said something about whoever does the casting must get sad when they find the 'perfect' actor for someone and then he gets killed off then he 'guessed' who i meant and mentioned the name of the actor, then when i elaborated, he got…
It seems like Benders aren't very popular in the current era anyway. Hell, there was a whole arc with people trying to get rid of them, i could see them becoming less and less popular and Bending being less and less common. but with the way the spirit world is now and airbending coming back, it feels like it might go…
Well she did get 'exiled' from republic city because she's useless, but then i remember the only reason thats even important is because Aang founded it which makes it historically significant.
Water benders turn it solid by removing heat which by that logic is the domain of firebenders.
I'm actually a big fan of Mistborn, advancing technology is just hard to do right.
Well as much 'better' as Mako is in the sense he has normal firebending AND lightning. And Bolin just has earth bending ('just' as if that wasn't good enough).
I do agree. Korra has this habit where she does something or solves something or causes something, then just gets distracted and wanders off. I get that things always come up - like some terrorist group with plans for 'chaos' or whatever) but when she caused the spirit world to start 'invading' she tried to fix the…
His blemish is that he's too trusting and a little too nice and not super smart.
Thats what we call plot convienence. It would be SO much harder to deal with her from a plot perspective if you have no way to restrain her.
Totally thought that too.
