I totally agree, i also agree with the people that say this sounds really fake. The thing is in this situation it fixes nothing. Assuming it is true, it solves nothing. The kid learns nothing, the parent certainly won't make it a teaching experience.

You said that pausing is fine, but hate when people are all "?" as soon as people do, and you find it infuriating. All i'm saying is that i find it infuriating when people don't explain why they are pausing.

Maybe they have a great story coming and we'll all love it but like you, i just wish she was her own character, cool and powerful with her own awesome story instead of just getting to 'oh she's thor' her way through things.

Its just a combination of revenge fantasy and the internet. The same reason that he posted this at all - the fact you can post anything you want and pretend that its real and people will (often) run with it for you.
