Its probably partly so it doesn't look so bad. Because of women were to try out for those sports and ALWAYS fail to get in, people would complain that it wasn't fair, since everyone was allowed to play, but due to competition, some people couldn't.

I must have missed where they said when they would do it.

Exactly. Whether it was purposeful or not it was major mismanagement and MAYBE some shady dealings. Either they really didn't know what they were doing or they padded those costs a lot.

Of course its not going to stop them playing minecraft on their channel, its likely where the vast majority of their money comes from. No judgement there either, if i was making money doing something i'd keep doing it even if it wasn't my favorite thing in the world. Thats called a job.

Not to mention just 'random gaming group' it was a random gaming group that had never shown any ability to create something or manage something or produce something of this size and they wanted half a mil to try.

'Pst, hey buddy. I hear you're going to get a big half-mil payout for that game thing? I really want in on that. I've got myself lined up for lucasarts but it'll be in awhile, think i can't get in on that.. yeah like, 35k would be nice, thanks'

Thats exactly what i read it as and i mentioned it above but they basically say they took time off their jobs to make it (good, you should be working full time on a game you were already paid 500k for), but then they go onto say that they had to go back to their old jobs and RED FLAG, RED FLAG.

Its funny you say that because i have heard an unverified rumour from a few people that point heavily to the idea that they wanted to make this game because they had a falling out with Notch or something and it was a bid to cash in on the minecraft craze.

I used to like them more than i do. I sort of feel like they mad it big really quickly and didn't quite know how to handle it. They were cool when they mad funny youtube things, now they are this huge thing and i dunno how much i like it anymore.

I'm still waiting on my copy, I'll be satisfied and just cop to the loss if i ever actually do get TUG. At least its something.

There is a release by the Winterkewl guy that mentions the contract. He goes on to say if he had 'more experience in this business i might have seen that coming' or that he would have put better safeguards in contracts. Because the way he was contracted meant that the guy in question could leave, not repay any of the

"We love this guy, we trust him, you should trust him, he'll do great things for the game"

I played for a bit in the beta. I have a problem where i can't play BF games at all, i get massive rubber banding no matter what. BF3, BF4 and Hardline are all the same.

I backed it and i'm not exactly angry or anything but i would like to see where some of this money went..

I feel like this is important

Anyone who is rude to, or looks down on someone just because their job is to serve you (in any capacity) is just a huge red flag for me. I immediately think they are a bad person and feel no guilt about the snap judgement of their character.

As an Australian, one of the things that concerned me about a trip to the states was tipping (that and tax not being added in the price of things. 19.50 + tax.. what? whats tax? which tax? how much? who, maths? really? why..)

I have ye to get my code for TUG, its a good consolation prize (if/when i get it) but it still shows just how dangerous kickstarters and early access can be. Becoming (essentially) an investor in anything is a gamble that people doing this sort of thing are generally not used to.

Is it just me or does the level of screaming in a lot of 'real life' martial arts (tae kwon do is a prime example in my experience) turn people off the idea? I walked past a tae kwon do class just a few weeks back and the shrieking going on...

I have a lot of time on my hands in the middle of the day. Though if you're interested, I bet you can google a few pages and find a bunch of people calling him a liar and a rapist too, it entirely depends on what part of the internet you're floating around in at the time. Though as i pointed out, i think this page is
