I'm not sure how many times Beifong for her ass kicked, in this episode, sure, but she was obviously not at her best. It's happened in the past, but it has to otherwise why have the avatar around at all? Not to mention being police chief isn't a title of supremacy of skill, its a job like any other and i'm sure you…
Have you ever seen The One? Its a Jet Li movie where he fights alternate dimension versions of himself. Its as amazing as it sounds.
Bolin is my favorite character.
I'd love to see Aang as an adult, kicking some ass.
A BABY air bison pelt, its WAY too small to be from a full grown adult bison...
Well to be fair Bolin said 'like one in a hundred earthbenders can metalbend' so its not like ANY earthbender can metalbend.
What got me is remember way back in, probably season one, when mako was working at what i can only imagine was a power station, and he was .. well lightning bending. Just like how Metal bending was really rare in the original series, but common here, i suppose Lightning Bending is the same, common now, but rare then.
At first whenever he was around i always thought 'oh boy, is he trouble, that little scamp' but he's quickly going from "scamp" to "douch". There is a a line where on one side you're fun and loveable and you bend the rules, you're a little troublemaker. But he crossed into the area of being a little douchbag, all he…
Not to mention more ephemeral things like a 'digital footprint' or a 'energy footprint'
That's just a good time.
I don't think i've ever heard anyone call anything a bootprint in casual conversation. If you see a print, its usually a 'footprint' anyway. Even if its clearly a shoe, i guess its easier to say 'footprint' because it was made by a foot, covered by something, than say a X-print (shoe, boot, flipflop, sandle, etc)
I thought the most critical point about this sort of thing (which amounts to human experiments) was that you had to inform the human subjects. An informed choice to be part of the study or experiment was at the core of such things.
I can only sigh, really.. Just sigh.
Books. Its not very interesting. I don't collect expensive books or unique books or special books. Just books. I like books, I could get books in a kindle, but i won't. If i buy a book that's part of a series, even if i don't particularly want to read them (though i probably will) I'll buy them all.
I still want to drink it. So long as it wouldn't outright kill me, I'd still want to drink it. its martian water guys...
I have ye to get my code for TUG, its a good consolation prize (if/when i get it) but it still shows just how dangerous kickstarters and early access can be. Becoming (essentially) an investor in anything is a gamble that people doing this sort of thing are generally not used to.
I read something - i don't know if its true or not - but they remodeled Fury after Jackson. Instead of kicking up a stink over it, good ol' sam instead went and said they could use it (and make it more obvious) if he got to be in all the marvel movies.
Is it just me or does the level of screaming in a lot of 'real life' martial arts (tae kwon do is a prime example in my experience) turn people off the idea? I walked past a tae kwon do class just a few weeks back and the shrieking going on...
I have a lot of time on my hands in the middle of the day. Though if you're interested, I bet you can google a few pages and find a bunch of people calling him a liar and a rapist too, it entirely depends on what part of the internet you're floating around in at the time. Though as i pointed out, i think this page is…
