In the new “actually canon” Trek books he was first officer to Picard and then Captain of the Enterprise once Picard went admiral.

Nothing set in stone, but the Picard tie-in novels state that Worf became first officer after Nemesis, and then took command of the Enterprise after Picard’s promotion to Admiral.

You’re thinking of the Future Picard scenes in All Good Things.

given that he is running Paramounts “after trek” show on youtube, while not in the show itself he is getting his fill.

Hoping we see him as Captain LaForge of the Odyssey-class Enterprise-F.

Welp I guess they’re going to fix the timeline (not surprising) The real question is are they bringing the E out of mothballs or are we getting the F?

My television can always use more LeVar Burton on it.

Note: Wesley died on the way back to his home planet.

See this is the stuff we’ve wanted to see for years. What exactly are our space friends up to now? What’s Geordi up to? Is Worf the successor to Martok as Klingon Emperor? Does Riker still play Trombone?

And I came here to make it. Thank you for your service

Please don’t suck !

It’s a nitpick but making the View screen in the Bridge a big window kind of bugs me

I really hope it feels like Star Trek

IMO Star Trek shouldn’t try to be on the big screen at all. Star Trek’s strength is its massive living universe, not any one core cast of characters. You can’t explore that in a movie franchise. Even the MCU hasn’t managed to execute proper large scale worldbuilding. Hell, even Star Wars kind of sucked at

Pine sounds like he knows what he’s talking about. But I’m not sure that I agree that “Star Trek is doing pretty good in television right now.” It’s doing… “ok” at best.

How many Batman properties can we have at once with Bat-adjacent characters that don’t have any continuity? Batwoman, Titans, The Batman, Pennyworth, Harley Quinn. Gotham just ended in recent years. Justice League and Joker weren’t too long ago. I’m sure I’m missing at least something.

I like Batman but seriously

So is that Misha Collins in the Matrix Awakening, or in some Unreal Engine 5 demo, or in just some untitled PS5 game? Because that is the most CGI looking Castiel I have ever seen.

I’m like 7 episodes behind now and lost interest. Wife and I recently rewatched TNG, DS9, and Voyager all the way through, then started the most recent season of Discovery. It just doesn’t.... “feel” like star trek anymore. The seasons are too short and there’s too much screen time dedicated to things that don’t serve

I was cool with everything but the cameo at the end. I lean left and don’t mind Star Trek embracing progressive topics as it always has. However, I do draw the line at professional politicians who aren’t even actors having cameos no matter where they reside on the political spectrum.

Right? I’m really starting to get tired of “creatives” being apparently not creative enough to figure out how to make a Robin story work.
