Finally, a real Star Trek show is on.

I’d say yes. Worth a try anyway. It’s actually been surprising me. Getting better as it goes along after a pretty strong pilot. Hardcore Halo fanboys are mad because it’s not just a 1st party POV of Chief shooting Covenant soldiers. But that’s why it’s working for me: translating the universe of Halo into a show where

Oh wow, I didn’t know that. I'd love it if he were captain of the Enterprise. A Klingon captain of the Enterprise is pretty darn progressive! Plus, Worf is the man.

I know, I know... But I'd watch Nemesis all day every day over Discovery. Even Picard has become something of a "hate watch." It's Star Trek made by Star Wars fans who didn't really like Star Trek or who felt that to be "good" ST needed to fundamentally change everything about itself.

At the end of DS9, yes. But in Nemesis, they said that he wasn’t an ambassador anymore. That was the last we’d seen of Worf.

It feels like “Star Trek” made by a bunch of “Star Wars” fans who don’t like “Star Trek.”

The writers of this site and its sister sites would love it.

I feel like when The Walking Dead started there was an attempt to portray a “realistic” vision of what would happen in the situation where the dead came back and started eating people. Fiction, to be sure, but there was a kind of realism.

Star Trek has closer to 800 hours of TV shows at this point. They hit episode 700 during the last season of Enterprise. Now with Discovery (ugh), Picard, Lower Decks, and Prodigy they’re up there.

I wouldn’t call this an unpopular opinion at all. Voyager frustrates me more than any other of the “TNG era” shows because its premise was so good, and so interesting, but ultimately wasted.

I didn’t think he sounded “weird” at all. In fact, I was shocked when I learned that his voice was done with the new technology. I figured that they did something to Hamill’s voice in ADR to make him sound younger -- didn’t realize it was created entirely.

Why doesn’t this article specifically say that The Dark Knight Rises was 2 hrs and 45 minutes? The Batman is only 10 minutes longer... CONTEXT.

I’m sorry, you lost me at “Quite frankly, Cena has more range [than Chris Pratt]...”

I’m rather looking forward to The Day Before. It seems, at least conceptually, like Days Gone. I hope it’s successful because it seemed kind of like a Red Dead Redemption 2-like open world and collection system just set in a modern, zombie-infested world.

Right! And still no co-op!

Agreed. Additionally, the story largely ignored the ramifications of what happened at the end of Halo 5 and was ambiguous about Cortana’s demise. We spent the last two games fighting Forerunner villains and now they’re all but gone with little explanation. This was after Cortana handed Master Chief and Spartan Locke

First off, “John Masterchief” straight up got an LOL out of me.

It’s true. Good point. I guess I was going off of Ghostbusters: The Video Game where the Vigo painting is still there.

Exactly right. The first Ghostbusters set the bar so high. And Bill Murray largely carried it on his shoulders. I think the reason why some criticize Ghostbusters 2, whether they admit it or not, is that it’s more of an ensemble movie than carried solely by Bill Murray. Egon gets good moments. Ray gets good moments.

Exactly. That’s probably what gave me the idea. Unfortunately, Max von Sydow died last year so it would have to be a soundalike.
