Ha! I’m an avid fan of Twin Peaks, watched and re-watched seasons one and two and Fire Walk With Me and I’m lost. I’m not disappointed at all, BTW. But just reinforcing the idea that if you haven’t seen any of it before, you should go back and do that first.

LOL You win the day.

I’ve seen this advice before. What do you do if you can’t avoid it?

This is soul-crushing to hear. It’s exactly what I didn’t want. I was looking for a “Power Rangers” movie reboot to be similar in tone to, say, “Pacific Rim.” That’s a movie with a goofy premise that is taken seriously in the movie, but the characters embrace the ludicrous nature of the concept and a fun time is had

Isn’t this basically an article about “how to be a ‘person?’”

Yes, but for ManWithNoChopstick characterizing Republicans as the only party who has “weaponized” the Senate.

YES! I used to watch The Pretender every Saturday night.

I’m sorry, but I don’t see any difference between this appearance than when Hillary Clinton is on. Or back when other candidates like Bernie or Cruz, whoever. It’s the Tonight Show, not “Meet the Press.” The President comes on there and plays stupid microphone games or whatever Fallon does. Why isn’t he asked about

To me, this is the power of Star Trek, an episode like “The Inner Light.” This episode tells an emotionally powerful, fantastical story about a man living another life which really informs your understanding about the life he really leads and who he is. All of which is bundled in a sci-fi wrapper, but even that is

Yep, superheroes, which are from comic books that are individual entries in long-form storytelling don’t work well on TV which is made up of individual entries in long-form... wait... uh.

I am unreasonably happy about this.

Awesome show.

The Real Ghostbusters aired in the late 1980s after the release of Ghostbusters 2.

Tom Welling!

The Friday the 13th series history is well catalogued in “Crystal Lake Memories” both the book and the DVD documentary. A fascinating retrospective, BTW.

Don’t want to be explicitly spoilery... but that’s not really a problem anymore, though...

Seeing Supergirl and The Flash together makes me happier than what seems to be rational for this kind of thing.

“[Fans] get to see their favorite, most beloved characters on different adventures at the same time in different universes. It makes it a lot more fun, we get to go in different directions at the same time. I’m like a kid in a candy store with this incredible opportunity. It’s really fun. It couldn’t be any better.”

This sounds like something Maester Aemon would have said... RIP.

Bob Johnson... oh, wait.
