It's interesting, too, because TV has had a better track record dealing with fantasy. "Game of Thrones" is only the most recent success. "Buffy" and "Angel" qualify. "Supernatural" would fit, too. Hell, "True Blood" counts.

No, it's not. The show's end delivered on story threads that had been building and evolving over its run. What some people didn't like was the mix of religion and science in the finale—that's my impression anyway.
