Hey dude, believe it or not I agree with you on that point. That's one really cool thing about Europe. In the USA, as a man, you pretty much have to walk around looking like you can beat someone's ass at all times. The reason for this is that if you don't, there is a decent possibility that some douchebag is going to

Hi Tadge,
Two weight related questions:

It's a lot easier to get different spring rates out of generic steel coils which are available off the shelf than to design and tool up for a host of different spring rates out of a custom composite spring that has only one application. You need to easily and quickly be able to tailor spring rates to track conditions.

haha, blah blah blah, I don't really give a crap how far down your standard of living goes. If anything, it gives me a sense of satisfaction after I read the arrogant rantings of people like you.

Need to go away? What kind of communist mumbo jumbo is this? Have you checked all of the cars in your parking lot to see if every seat was occupied by an ass? Are all of the trunks full?
You don't need a pickup truck to waste capacity, virtually everyone on the road wastes capacity driving their cars around. If you

I'm not going to bother much with your nonsensical reply. You didn't address any of my questions at all. A CRV wont tow squat, and, putting a bunch of heavy, dirty things in the interior will destroy it and have it smelling like ass in no time.
I do however understand your thinking. I have lived here for over 2 years.

Who told you this stuff? Find another source for your information.
Weight only affects acceleration, and even then it's contribution depends on the rate of the acceleration and the aerodynamics of the vehicle.
Once you are rolling, you are talking about aerodynamics as the #1 thing working against you. Weight is

I take it you haven't traveled much outside of the city. Just an FYI, some of us own homes, with land, with big garages, we own tools. I don't know what kind of trucks you've been around that are making your eyes bleed but if you mean diesel, most trucks are gas. As far as diesel is concerned, I live in a country now

Actually, the concept car he posted was known as the Mach III. The SN95 he posted is indeed a Mustang Cobra. He was referring to the concept car when he mistakenly mentioned Mach I instead of III.

oh snap! IIRC that's the "Mach III" concept from the early 90s prior to the release of the SN95. I had a Motor Trend (or one of the other mags) that had this on the cover back in the day. I remember how futuristically retarded it looked to me at the time. You can see elements of the SN95 in it if you look closely.

I

When I read posts like these I am hit with a range of emotions.

First, I am angry. I am angry that assholes like you exist. Angry that there are people so hateful and depraved that our most innocent and vulnerable -children- are targets of their ire.

Then I am overcome with sadness. I think to myself that the only way

I see these things all the time here in Sicily. Super common. Actually I think I see most of the European cars that have been posted here on a regular basis.
My guess is that it's because people here are too broke to afford anything newer.

There's no evidence that anyone beat on his windows or slashed his tires after he deliberately or negligently rear-ended the motorcycle. In fact, the thing seemed to be driving pretty well all over town on this supposed slashed tire. Even if it was punctured, there is a good case to be made that it probably happened

I'd like to know how you've arrived at such a positive opinion about the aesthetics of this car given that Mercedes has employed the use of fake plastic mesh vents in the rear bumper, and an entire lower valance on the rear bumper that consists of fake plastic mesh.
This is the sort of thing we came to expect from mid

So you are saying it's basically exactly the same thing as the Lien incident. Good point.

Now playing

Just to let you know, stick shifts were and still are widely available in thirdgen F bodies. The only thirdgen that couldn't come with one were those with the 350. It doesn't matter though, the H.O. 305s (L69 and LB9 w/stick) put out good power and the late LB9 stick cars ran damn near identical times to the 350.
The

Just curious, have you ever owned anything with a V8? If so, what was it, and how wealthy are you?
I ask because as an American living in Europe, the only people I see driving anything like that (never have seen a black series AMG though) are bazillionares. Just owning something with a V8 is a complete rarity here.

Looks like this guy handled it almost the same way Alex Lien did.

Waiting for all the posts defending the SUV driver this time.

There are nearly 1 million police officers in the United States and 47 were killed last year. There are usually well under 100 and closer to 50 per year. Meanwhile, in a given year, police officers kill around 400 people. Many of them under very dubious circumstance.
Excuse me while I don't sympathize. I am a former
