Atlanta is a clusterfuck every time I’ve been in the past 4-5 years. Between all of the constant construction, moving sidewalks out of order, and everything else, getting across it in less than a hour is a really good day.

If I am not using my cast iron, SS is the way to go. Cast iron is still my favorite and gets used for just about everything since I have so much of it. But my SS set I love as well. It is nothing fancy or expensive, just a Wolfgang Puck set I got probably 15 years ago, but it is still doing great. My wife prefers the

My thermostat. When I bought my new AC unit, they threw in a Honeywell wifi thermostat with it. I’m lazy at times, so when I get to bed and realize I haven’t turned down the air for the night, I grab my phone and change it. Or when I wake up in the morning and it’s a little chilly, reach over and turn it up some. The

Same for me. I have always like Dog Food Advisor and I have used either taste of the wild or diamond naturals for a while, and I have always felt it was better. Our latest addition is Jack, a 2-year-old beagle mix that was sent to us with a bag of pedigree and that is all he has ever had. After a week of being on “the

I can understand where people like this come from, but as long as they are taking food items or things they actually need to survive, I am ok with it. Leave them alone or help them out.

I use a bath mat more as a way to make sure I don’t slip on the tile floor when I get out and to keep my feet warm. I hate the feel of a wet bath mat. I dry off completely before I get out. That includes the bottom of my feet, in-between my toes, and everything, but I’m just weird like that. My wife, on the other

It works as a really good substitute for lard/shortening/oil in biscuits. .5 cup of mayo for every 2 cups flour. It sounded disgusting to me when i first heard of it, but it is actually very good. And a lot easier to incorporate in than shortening.

Ive never tried microwaving my sponges because im afraid ill end up burning it. I usually put my sponges in the washing machine/dryer when i wash a load of towels, or occasionally in the dishwasher.

I like AWS. Its an easy and cheap way to run your own server. But for a basic static website it can be really handy too even if you arent a technical person. Just create an S3 bucket and tell it to use it to host a website.

Same for me. I have these Lodge scrapers and i cant imagine not having them. especially after my wife cooks. http://amzn.to/2u80P1T

White and Black are my favorites. Mainly because I have a lot of color/shade blind issues and a lot of colors either look the same to me or are so close I can never be confident about what they are. I have never had a problem identifying something as white or black though, so I have developed a fondness for them.

Sorry, I will try to keep it down. But blasting Metallica at 1am is the only way I can get to sleep.

I like to keep my interior pretty basic. I don’t have all the power stuff in my 08, or all the steering wheel buttons. I did change out my stereo recently though. I put in the joying android head unit because I wanted GPS and not a big one on the dash. But even it is basic compared to some out there. I have no CD

I second this. I’ve spent my whole life pretty much in LA and MS, and we buy it pre-made all the time. When making a large batch of gumbo, you may spend 45-60 minutes just on making the roux. The jar of roux saves so much time. Even for smaller batches, I usually just use half of a jar and store the rest in the

Its Nougat. Chances are Asus took it out. The Kidsmode was included by default, so it was probably because of that.

I have an asus zenphone 3 and couldn’t find this feature anywhere. I do have a “kids mode” though that I use often. This sets up a desktop for kids where you can select which apps they have access to. You can allow certain apps, block incoming calls completely or require a pin to answer calls, and set a time limit.

Since I was a kid, my dad has always put sliced american cheese on his chocolate chip cookies. Sometimes melted, sometimes not. I always thought he was crazy, until i tried it and loved it. Now, my wife thinks im crazy for eating it.

I would love to have a 10-star scale. I’ve always hated that I was limited to 5. There are movies that I like a lot, but don’t love, that I can’t really accurately define on a 5 point scale. Right now it is pretty much 1-Hate it, 2-Didnt like it but didn’t hate it, 3-it was ok, 4- I liked it, and 5- I loved it.

Grocery shopping is something that my wife and I do totally different. She is the type to just throw it all in there and deal with it. She also is the type that does not like to make out a list. She just writes down a few things along with some meal ideas and runs with it. Which means it takes her forever to shop

This is pretty big. Using a double agent is definitely a downfall for the buyer. They typically are just out to sell that house and will tell you what you want to hear. Always get your own agent. It’s not like you have to pay for it out of pocket (unless you are looking at a for sale by owner home), and your agent
