While true the fact that an amateur photographer can show up at the right time and take 1,000 photos without batting an eye they have a better shot of getting a decent photo than a pro who waits weeks but never has the right conditions.

I live in Baltimore (Just North of DC) and while we do get snow this is supposed to be a Blizzard with heavy snow and this area does not have the amount of equipment necessary to handle these types of snow storms. Last time we had over 2 feet of snow it took a few days to dig out.
