You don’t need that much athleticism to dunk if you are an average height male (5'10“-6'2"). For simple stuff a 30-33" vertical is enough which almost anyone can reach in a couple of years of training.

I’d add weight as a criteria too, there are a numbers of players nowadays who are “center-sized” (6-10 and up) but play other positions and don’t carry 240+ pounds, hence less stress on joints, etc.
