Maybe Sony did something like.. a market survey? Found out that most playstation users are not rich big daddys with a nice large living room? Maybe they already are offering other products suitable for that segment.. you know.. like their big screen Bravia series?

And where are the mass produced products that share this feature Xcite79? Just because other companies have talked about the technology, doesn't really equals to consumers getting their hands on it?

Then I agree with you, bigger screen as main TV owns less than half the size + multiplayer view :P

Maybe people already have a 50"ish non-3D tv and just want to add some 3D to their lifes without having to buy a new giant TV? :3 Possible upgrading their PC monitor to a larger size as well, if your okay with the different aspect ratio/resolution, or just adding a second screen to their desktop setup

Stop complaining.. Why not just appreciate that they are actually being innovative? Did you ever think that they maybe are testing the market, and possible will release a larger version if it becomes a success? Or that there may be technical/cost issues related to a larger version?

I strongly considered buying a new PC for BF3 and D3, but after actually being able to play the BF3 beta on my 3ghz dual core, ATI HD4870, 4GB ram PC - I figured I might as well save me some $$$ for the time being.. Then buy a new one when D3 comes and ATI/Nvidia puts out new GFX cards in 2012 ^^
