The funny thing is that runway fashions are put together so quickly (albeit extravagantly) that you couldn't really wear most of them down the street. They'd fall apart. You can see that in a lot of the huge, loose stitches they were doing. The stuff for shows if they're not prêt-à-porter stuff is in large part held

They want to protect them before they're born so they can kill them when they're older. What are they, republicans?

This makes me think of when hunters care about the environment, you think "Yay! They care!" and then you realize, "Oh, it's to kill animals:("

I completely and wholeheartedly agree. I am also really sad that Jezebel decided to completely alienate its animal loving readers (which is probably a significant portion; I mean we're all liberals here amirite?) with the tone of this article. Shame on the "activist" and shame on Jezebel for using this ridiculous

So this is very cool and all, but it drives me absolutely bonkers. I want the book. I want it I want it I want it I want it.

Mostly it's because they have to report (to someone) how many people are using the TSA Pre system. If they only let the people who had paid for the background checks go through those lines, they wouldn't be able to show constantly "improving" numbers of people using the system.

I think this is kind of cool. Even though I know in theory that other people's lives can't be as perfect as they seem on Facebook, I forget that they have moments where they lie on their couch eating ice cream out of the pint like I am right now (or maybe it's just me that does that?). And anything that helps to

his daemon must be a tiger that you can't see

Last gal's friend is just trying to relate. New mom probably won't shut up about the kids, and so the topic of "taking care of an inferior being" ends up being the only common ground.

Big surprise. Yet "We really wanted a boy, but I guess this will do." still seems to be the prevailing attitude.

True that it will first be used for breeding, but it's unlikely that when that gig is up, it will retire to nice, sweet, farm sanctuary.

Those look like some pretty hard runs.

"They blare music all night long, they have college students out there screaming, and everyone's drinking.... Rural residents have quiet lifestyles.

Several times a week? I am calling BULLSHIT on that. I am sure all those Tuesday weddings are keeping the chickens up.

Do it! I've been off it for nearly two years. I do not miss it at all.

Well, it's not always a choice.

One problem: Endometriosis has actual pathology that can be documented. They do have to go inside and get a piece of whatever the Dr. thinks is endo then the pathologist looks at it and says whether it contains endometrial cells or not.

No, they don't give you even an unofficial diagnosis of endo because nothing else fits. My doc was pretty sure I had it, but was very clear that he could not be official about it until they actually looked inside me.

I never thought that you were implying that endometriosis is fake, what I am saying is that you are wrong for suggesting that it is simply a diagnosis of exclusion. It's my understanding that physician's don't say "oh, we just don't get what's going on so we'll call it endometriosis". They say "you have endometriosis

Person with endometriosis here. You don't get that diagnosis because "nothing else" fits. It's a real disorder. They looked inside me 8 ways from Sunday to make sure.
