Men get post-wedding let down too.
Men get post-wedding let down too.
Common fucking sense should settle that debate.
Sure, many fundamentalist sects of Mormonism practice polygamy, and that rightfully gets a ton of negative media attention. But there are a lot of new-agey cults and other religions that practice as well, and they can be just as coercive and misogynistic.
I think they're talking about polyamorous relationships in a fringe-religion, cult-type setting? I don't even put those in the same category since those types of relationships are often non-egalitarian, consensual, coercive, and misogynistic. To think all polyamorous relationships are like that would be ridiculous.
"Nobody in fashion appears to give a shit about PETA"
at chipotle sofritas are the new tofu offering.
I ran a marathon wearing my Fitbit so I can't figure out which of your categories I fit into!
"If it wasn't for my horse I never would have gone to college."
My husband and I have been together for 8 years. We basically moved in together from day 1, but we had been close friends before that.
The culture here is super weird. I know a lot of 20 - 30 year olds who fall somewhere on the left/liberal spectrum go to strip clubs for entertainment on the regular and act like it's totally fun and normal. You don't have to look very hard to see twenty-something hipsters coming and going from strip clubs. IT'S SO…
Plus, any sane doctor and credible literature will tell you that you should not get a vasectomy if you're even remotely thinking "and if I change my mind I can always reverse it".
" i thought it was a hippie granola kinda place filled with liberal hipsters like me." I mean, it is... but it's not anywhere close to being free from racism, sexism, classiscm, homophobia, etc. That kind of place literally does not exist in the entire world so you should probably stop looking for it!
Don't forget how they feel like they need to play devil's advocate here.
I would be fine with that. I've always wondered why companies just take the loss on returned undergarments (punchline: they weren't!). It seems completely reasonable to have a no return policy unless an item is defective.
Texas does a sales tax-free weekend every August for back to school shopping and being at the mall that weekend is pretty comparable to the weekend after Thanksgiving. Madness. Just madness.
That's what I do as well. People get sweets and jams from me.
I handknit my husband socks one year and he thought it was so weird. To be fair, they were huge.
Veryyyyyy interesting that husband is on the top 10, but not wife.
I had a toy barn with Buyer horses, so my Barbies cleaned the stalls, shoed the horses, and served as large animal veterinarians. There were usually horse russelers in the immediate area who had to be stopped!
This was absolutely the only good thing about living in San Francisco.
