Twister is one of the rare films that is largely about research scientists collecting data for further analysis.

That’s called ‘luck’ ie random chance. Nobody chooses the family into which they are born, whether that’s a family with all the necessary connections already in place, or the resources necessary to buy or make them. It’s just random chance.

Charlie Cox is not only British, but he studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, the same acting school as Olivia Colman, Daniel Day Lewis, Jeremy Irons, Anthony Hopkins, Patrick Stewart, Pete Postlethwaite, Matt Ryan, Ray Stevenson, Mark Strong, Gene Wilder, Naomie Harris, and many more.

Hey, never say never. I started out writing fanfic for Stargate SG-1, but I stopped when my original novels started being published. Fast forward a few years, the people contracted by MGM to release the official novels were looking for fresh blood. They asked their established authors for names. A couple of them

Daredevil: Born Again must include Alice Eve as Typhoid Mary. This demand is non-negotiable.

I mean, the question is was all this lore supposed to be literal to the people experiencing it or just mythology as handed down to future generations. Say, like the formation of Maui to Hawai’ians as depicted in Moana. I suppose since there are supposed to be elves who are that old and it is living memory it could be

Like, cut the mob stuff - that’s fine. An accident that requires a blood transfusion is all you need. Have Bruce triage her in a

Counter-counterpoint: rescue any of his victims.

I think it’s because sometimes less is more. Movies like Jurassic world have better technology and better CGI but they’re filmed more like a superhero movie: trying to show off what they can show you. In Jurassic Park, you’re seeing things from basically the same POV as the human characters. In Jurassic World, you

The different SG teams had different specialties and were equipped accordingly. So SG-1 was the first contact team, they didn’t go in with heavy weapons so they wouldn’t intimidate the locals. That’s why they had the MP-5s and later P90s; just enough to defend yourself if things go south and you have to book it back
