They really shouldn’t base the plot directly on the games or feature Shepard as the protagonist. They should take the Star Trek route and feature an entirely original plot with new characters set in the same universe, instead.

Also, I don’t know what percentage, but I can absolutely guarantee you some of the film was shot in Chicago. Not just because I recognize some of it, but because when I am out walking the dog and I see a film crew, I always ask what they are shooting and twice the answer was “The Batman.”

As everybody knows, you can get away with a fair amount of violence and still get that precious PG-13 or equivalent. You just can’t have nudity or swearing.

I don’t see how you can look at the first two or three seasons of AoS and say that it doesn’t take place in the MCU. Fury, Hill, Sif, Sitwell, Peggy Carter, President Ellis? (And the Kree were introduced on the show, however indirectly.)
