... I'd do Barry.
... I'd do Barry.
I love that you mentioned the accent because Gambit was voiced by one of my favourite Canadian actors, Chris Potter, who grew up (and continues to live) in Ontario. His accent was very, very fake but oh so cute.
Her voice is a bit off-putting but, in general, the really loud, over-the-top, in your face personality type isn't my cup of tea so when you put it altogether and tell me it's Kristen Schaal, I mostly just cringe in the corner. I want to like her but I just can't!
I can't get into Kristen Schaal though I know many people love her. I don't hate her, by any means, but I find most of her stuff too over the top - granted, I haven't watched her on The Daily Show so what do I know?
Why is Rob Ford being rubbed in my face in Tweet Beat of all places? I come here for entertainment, not political despair! As per usual, though, Nathan Fillion is a delight.
I think this is one of the first times I've seen a red carpet where not everyone looked the same Hollywood standard size 2 - and it was just as amazing as I thought it would be.
That was my exact thought too!
This is a whack cross-section of tweets. (P.S. If I promise to never mention Rand Paul or Todd Akin or whatever politician of your choice, will everyone please forget about Rob Ford? No? ... It was worth a try.)
First off, I did not know that Devon Sawa is Canadian. Secondly, I dig all of the tweets of Canadian descent in this here Tweet Beat.
My immediate thought is that the lion costume was exactly like the one from the Wizard of Oz, not pajamas. Although, if I could wear pajamas for Halloween, I would, so I'm not knocking it regardless.
It's definitely not Lindy's commentary that's suffering so much as the celebs (the ones I recognize, anyway) are apparently really boring today. Even Lindy can only do so much with that - but oh, do I agree with that sentiment so much!
I like Lindy so, just to be clear, I am in no way blaming her, at all, but this was a weirdly boring Dirt Bag.
I actually met her today and she doesn't actually expect many people (read: those from North America, literally) to attend her bridal shower in Greece, though we're all invited, so that pretty much eliminates all my concerns! All that worry for no reason :)
Julianne Hough has never particularly pinged my radar (she's on a dancing show and dated Seacrest, right?) but I pretty much assume celebrities never learn re: blackface because there are absolutely NO consequences after they do it.
Considering how on board most of her friends seem to be with this plan, I think I just happened to be friends with someone who's comfortably wealthy and I didn't know it? She's pretty economical in her own life (I knew her as an undergrad student) so I never noticed it and if she's what rich people are like, I'm…
I realize you're right in that I could simply decline the invites but I don't think it addresses the feelings and personal relationship behind the invitations which is really what I'm mostly worried about.
I very much appreciate that you gave me an exact dialogue (I'm not kidding) since I think knowing where to start is the hardest part. Thank you!
I'm pretty sure she will understand, I suppose I just wish there was a silver bullet that would mean I didn't have to hurt her feelings and/or feel guilty! Thanks :)
So I have a question for all the Jezzies around...
I have been listening to Neil Diamond's greatest hits CD in my car non-stop for the last two weeks. I am proud to report it started just before Ms. West premièred Neil Diamond week so clearly, I'm psychic, woot!
