If I were to guess, I would bet the Tesla was rented on Turo without the proper insurance for a rental car, and the claim will be denied.

A “stunt” usually refers to intentionally risky behavior. The fact that movie stunts are handled with extreme precautions doesn’t change that. If we just called it a crash, then that would downplay the intentionally risky part. Lots of people have had crashes that were not intentional.

You contact your insurance company, tell them what happened and the other person’s insurance information, then your company cuts you a check and sues their company for the balance.
