One of those would make a pretty good home arcade cabinet for racing games.

I am not sure I want to drive it to work but I would enjoy some iRacing in it.

I have always seen the “Apple Car” as a theoretical platform Apple uses to sell technology to actual automakers.

A half mile walk every time you need your car is really going to make you think twice about owning a car.

This is a good compromise for being able to develop without the normal parking.

When my dad bought an Eddie Bower Ford Bronco II in the 80's it came with luggage.

The worse bits are fake salaries that a lot of the trucking companies are posting.  They will advertise $90k but in the fine print say that you have to cover fuel and maintenance and that brings you right back to $40k

Picking up a copy of Star Wars Squadrons, a VR headset, and building out the cockpit is about as close as one can reasonably get.

A rally game without VR just seems weak.

That is what Federal Transportation money should be for. Making sure that we can travel and transport cross country as effectively as possible.

These arrow straight highways that go on for miles and miles with unreasonably low speed limits.

It looks like a rounded off Leaf.

It doesn’t call to me. I guess it is practical. I am sure it is fine.

I guess I just want it to be interesting and it isn’t

That is the thing though, I don’t have to do any research to keep doing what I am doing. It is working.

If I go buy an electric car, now I have to plan my route, I have to know if there really is a charger where the internet says there is one, what used to take five minutes tops now takes an hour.

And that assumes

Range anxiety is still real. I still can’t depend on there being a charger at my destination and short of a Tesla most E cars don’t have the range to make a three hour drive out and then make it back.

Coincidently most of my vacationing is about three hours from here.

I can’t do that without refilling my WRX, but I

Genesis come off the boat in full car cover pajamas. They are very tight with the styling of what is rolling off the ships into port.

These things could already be rolling into CA and very few would know.

I really want one of the big OEMs to partner with Factory Five and other kit car makers to release some good weird electric low volume fun cars.

This is just too normal.

I suspect that ultra low mileage great condition SSR pickups are like ultra low mileage great condition Corvettes.

They are goddamn everywhere and won’t ever really be valuable.  These things were bought as weekend toys to get to the golf course and outside of the golf course set no one will ever give a shit about

Not just extra lanes, a whole extra road. A second road so a rock slide, traffic accident, or other disaster doesn’t lock up a the whole town.

If only for emergencies, we need to add lanes to rural highways and new rural highways.

There needs to be more alternate routes out of town and we need to eliminate choke points. Pretending that mass transit can make up for lack of highway capacity is a cruel  joke during disasters.

There is no appeal here.
It isn’t cheap
It won’t be fast or safe.
The slush box means it won’t be fun.
It is somebody else’s project done poorly so it won’t be reliable.

If I am going to have a kit car I want a modern fuel injected engine and a manual xmsn in a crazy body.

I love sticker packs extra plasticky bits stuck to the outside on my crap can.
